René Giesbers talks to Jeffrey Immelt, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of General Electric

In the autumn of 2009 Jeffrey Immelt, Chairman and CEO of General Electric, paid a visit to Rotterdam. He was invited by Havenbedrijf Rotterdam (Port Authority of Rotterdam) and he spoke with dignitaries including Ahmed Aboutaleb, Mayor of Rotterdam, and Hans Smits, President and CEO of the Port Authority of Rotterdam. The meeting was held in the context of the GE programme 'Sustainable Cities', which provides for collaboration between GE and cities that are engaged in improving the environment and the climate. Cargoshell initiator René Giesbers was also present at this meeting. He had a conversation with Jeffrey Immelt about the sustainable qualities of Cargoshell.
